I like Craftsman product really well because they are durable and well built products. I normally like everything I purchase that is made by Craftsman. This leaf blower is well made. It's light weight and easy to handle. It does a good job blowing the leaves but the only downfall is the battery doesn't stay powered up very long. It starts off blowing strong but quickly loses it power. If it would stay charged longer it would be great product!

The C3 battery operated leaf blower works well blowing leaves off our deck and from around the pool. It's ok for clearing light debris, and in fact, the power level is an advantage when blowing leaves off our dirt driveway-- just the leaves move, and the dirt stays! But I would not make this my primary blower for cleaning up leaves in the fall. You'd need more power for that.

The blower comes with a charger and battery so that was a plus although I already had one. Unfortunatly there is not enough gusto to actualy do any work. It may be nice for VERY light tasks but the convenience was not worth the extra time it would take me to do the same job with a plug-in model. Your experience may vary but spend the money on something with some more horsepower.

Great tool for small or medium properties. Fairly light, powerful enough to keep all of our wood decks and walks clear of fall leaves for two events one charge.

This puppy blows out 140 MPH! That is hurricand force winds! But, if you are looking to use this on a large space after mowing a lawn or for a large garage, I would probably recommend the purchase of a good old fashioned gasoline powered blower. I always use this blower, but it just can't handle the large driveways or big piles of grass. I do however use this in my 2 car garage and have been rather happy with it that way. I will also shorten the blower tube and I seem to generate a wider blowing area that way.

The 19.2 blower is very convenient; just wish it had a stronger wind velocity. I have to use my electric blower where I need a stronger blower. It is great for blowing the grass off the driveway and sidewalk, but not so great for blowing leaves.

Great for the small jobs around the garage. Just grab it and go. Had two Black & Decker cordless before but this one beats them hands down. Battery charges fast. Definitely recommend.

Bought this for my wife. She likes it, No more cords to drag around. She hates leaves on the driveway and decks. Just have to recharge the battery and ready to go again. Holds up for what we need to get done. Well worth it. I don't have to hear her complain of the cord. :)

You have to keep in mind that this is a light duty blower to use around the yard. It isnt meant to chomp and mulch branches and leaves. I use it to clean-up the driveway\deck\garage without having to pull out the cord and heavy duty blower. I love the ease of throwing a battery in it and being done a couple of minutes. Just get a couple of batteries to be able to replace as the charge decreases. It does a fine job for the light duty quick work. It isnt meant to replace a heavy duty blower for fall leaves-I have a separate one for those chores. This is a great addition to my C3 drill, hedge trimmer, and weed eater.

This is the first blower I have owned. Previously used a broom. Having a dozen or so C3 tools, I figured the blower would be a great addition. I was correct. It does my drive, sidewalk, and patio without effort. I even clean off my Craftsman lawn mower before putting it away. It never slows down and I just toss the battery back on my C3 Multiport charger and I am ready to go for the next time. If you had a lot more to do, you might need an extra battery or choose a gas powered unit, but it works perfect for the job I described.

I bought this blower and my first thought was" i hope its powerful enough" i was pleasantly surprised when i slapped a fully charged battery on it and it blew all the leaves off the patio with ease....the only negative"and a small one" is the opening at the end of the blower tube is pretty small so it doesnt sweep a large area..this blower will easily do what you need it to do but i wouldnt use it to blow wet leaves.... my goal is to get rid of all my gas powered equipment"besides the mowers" and im getting there .i have the c3 weed wacker(which is awesome) and now the blower, and doing the yard work got a bit easier. BUY IT

Bought this to blow off deck, which frquently has tree debris on it. Nice and light, easy and fast to use - just perfect for the job! Less power than the full size, but quick and fast to use makes all the difference. Well built and battery is interchangeable with other tools. Quite pleased with it.

I have tried all of the competing cordless blowers. I need to clean the grounds frequently and near our pool and I don't wan't gas or extension cords. The other blowers didn't come close to completely the area. This blower does the job front and back and is far superior to the other blowers. It, not only, lasts longer but is much stronger also. I highly recommend it.

It's not going to have the power of gas or a corded blower, but for those dozens of quick uses to clear messes and smaller areas it sure beats hauling out a cord. It's particularly good if you use other 19.2 devices where you can keep just one charger going and interchange the batteries for all of your toys.

Doing light sweeping is all I wanted this for and it fits the bill perfectly.

No, it won't blow heavy amounts of dirt away, nor will it clean the back yard of wet leaves, but this is great for cleaning up after mowing or brushing off the patio furniture. Light and comfortable, easy to use. The battery lasted me over 45 minutes.

If your lookinf for a blower to remove grass from your sidewalks after mowing this will work great for you. If you need to move lots of leaves or heavier things then don't buy this one.

The blower is very light weight and easy to use. It also does a decent job blowing leaves and tanbark from my yard and off my driveway. However, the 19.2 volt battery quickly looses it power and charge. Within a few minutes, you notice reduced power and force with the blower. Within 10-15 minutes, you better be done with the task or the blower will let you sit waiting for the battery to recharge. I would not recommend this unit.... or at least not recommend the 19.2 volt battery.

The blower is light, convenient, and does in fact blow grass and leafs. However, the 140 mph is a little farfetched. For my application, two small walkways, a driveway, and about a 400 sq ft area around the pool, the unit works fine. Anything bigger may be a challenge as it could be a little more efficient. It works on the C3 platform, which is its greatest feature.

I have a great gas powered blower that I bought from Sears. But there are many times when I don't want to have to crank up the starter for just a couple of minor things. This is perfect for keeping my garage leaf free from all the stuff that blows in. I love it in my woodshop when I've got a lot of sawdust to get out of the way. It's perfect after planting to get rid of extra potting soil or clearing the walk after I mow. If you think you are buying this to move a whole bunch of damp leaves, or do some really heavy lifting... you are wrong. It's great as an additional "quick" blower.... or for the stuff I mentioned above. If you are looking to buy a leaf blower for heavy duty leaves, clearing after you mow, etc... buy a gas powered model.

I have to say that I am a little disappointed.  I have not experienced the “up to 140 mph” air velocity advertised.  Like other reviewers, I also thought it might be a low battery, switched to a known fully charged battery with no improvement.

I have used it to clean grass clippings and leaves, and like not having a power cord.  it is small and light and I like using it to blow out my garage workshop.  If I had even a slightly larger yard I would consider buying a more powerful unit and keeping this just for the shop and drying motorcycles after cleaning.

I have the C3 workshop blower, which is meant to clean up your workshop.  It is decent for what its suppose to do, but not fantastic.  I wanted a battery operated leaf blower, but I know there is no way any battery operated blower will compete with electric or gas versions.  With that in mind and reading the first poster's review, I had my expectations set.  It had better be more powerful than the workshop blower which most people try to use as a leaf blower and think it's a joke for that purpose.

I ordered mine on July 30 and finally got it today on Aug 20.  It looks so small compared to the picture.  I put it together after I got home from work and powered it up with a nicad battery I have already charged.  It put out a bit more than the workshop blower, which is good.  I then use the same battery on the workshop blower and noticed that the air is more directed with the leaf blower and much more air is coming out.  I then tried to blow things across the room and the leaf blower won out.  I put the attachment onto the new leaf blower and it seems to be a tapered blower tube which allowed the air to be more directed and I was able to blow alot more across the room with the attachment.  The CFMs of both would not compare to the gas/electric ones, but between the workshop and leaf blower, the latter put out more.

The main unit I am comparing this to is the Black and Decker 18v blower.  I'm not sure how well it compares, but the BD blower I tried at the store didn't seem all that powerful, but I am almost sure the battery was at a state of recharge.  Every go into a store to try out their cordless tool? Most of the tools with batteries either don't start or they are very low on power.

I think I will keep this unit as I find this blower convenient and I'll be using it to blow stuff inside of our remodeling project as well as using it outside to blow grass and leaves to the side.

If you buy the C3 blower, buy it more for convenience than for a powerful blower, because if you are going from a gas to this blower, it will be a let down, unless you set your expectations accordingly.  For a battery operated blower, it does have decent power.

I already see myself using this blower more than the workshop blower.  You can remove the blower tubes and it will be a portable unit like the workshop blower.

I am looking for a comparison report or test between this blower and the Black and Decker 18v version, but it's no where to be found.  The BD is "rated" at 120 mph and this C3 Craftsman blower is rated at 140mph so the craftsman version better be more powerful than the BD.

Also, they call these "broom" blowers for a reason... So keep that in mind as well.

Too bad this blower did not come w/o battery to keep the cost of entry for this tool low.

I just purchased this blower and it was delivered yesterday.  I would have to say that I am very disappointed.  I haven’t decided if I am going to keep it or send it back.  I’m not sure if I would even dare call it a power broom.  The information on this model states that the air velocity is “up to 140 mph”.  I’m not sure the conditions of that test, but my gut feel is that they were testing it in a vehicle that was already travelling at 70 mph or more.  Placing my hand or finger in front of the nozzle does not produce the resistance that you would feel by sticking your hand out of a vehicle window travelling at 70 mph.  I thought it must be a bad battery, so I swapped out the new battery with one of my other batteries from other 19.2 tools.  The results are the same.  I am truly disappointed in the deceptive advertising.
Having said all that, this blower does blow dust bunnies out of the garage and light leaves and other light debris off of hard surfaces.  It is also quiet and very convenient to not have a cord getting caught every time I need to clean up.  So I am caught in a dilemma.  Do I voice my displeasure in the deceptive advertising the only way that will cause Sears to listen - by sending it back and asking for a refund?  Or, do I just be happy for it can do and give up the fight?  I’ll decide tomorrow after I use it on another part of the property.

When you have some leaves to blow, it's best to use this really awesome cordless blower. It makes getting leaves out of your yard, and into your neighbors, really easy! I got one for myself and then one for my dad. We like to use these right when the leaves fall.

We needed a new leaf blower, but did not need a heavy duty one, and this was great because we have several other tools which use the same battery.

I purchased the C3 blower and it did not measure up to other reviews. Not sure why its 3 or 4 stars. The battery runs out in about 5 to 10 minutes. For the price $80 I might as well buy a gas powered blower. I had to return this one. It was terrible.

I love it, plenty of power to clean off the sidewalk, clean the garage floor, and clean off the deck. I'm an older lady with some handicaps and it is light enough for me to use easily. It isn't as strong as a big gas powered one but I have one and can't start it until the grandsons come over and start it for me. The cordless works perfectly and was surprised at how much power it had.

This battery- powered blower is so weak that I think I can blow harder. It clamis 140 mph but it is more like 10 mph.
