My neighbor was using this product to hang family photos. When she took one off the wall and I saw how it fit so snuggly against the wall and didn't stick out like other hanging implements, I had to get them. I went out and bought them the following day. They are so easy to use and I finally, after 5 years put family photos on my walls. No Hammer! No Nails!

Great for use in apartments. I use them for temporary set-up of resident art shows in retirement communities. Suggest clicking the strips together first, then applying to frame, and then putting the frame on the wall. Tape a small level to the top of the frame if you don't what to draw lines on the wall.

I love that the command products can be put on a wall and taken down. No nail marks in the wall. Great for apartment living. I use they all the time.

It's awesome for hanging smaller pictures without making holes in your wall. I like the fact you can swap out decor without a messy wall to repair every time.

Our basement is finished except for the exterior walls which are just textured, painted concrete. These strips held some fairly heavy pictures on the walls as well as a heavy tile on sheet rock. You do have to be careful to use a lot of them (3 or 4) on heavy stuff and not all frames have a good place on the back to place these.

I hung a memo board up (minor problems at first with hold; I had to double the time on the instructions the 2nd time I tried) and when I had to reposition it, the item removed cleanly from the adhesive strip counterparts but the strips themselves tore the paint off the wall when I tried to remove them, despite following the instructions scrupulously. (I'm paranoid about sticky + painted walls and I should have known better to trust packaging promises!)

These are incredible. Simply put, the best things out there for hanging pictures. Follow instructions VERY carefully, and they work perfectly. No holes, and no wires. Just great.

These are the best things I've ever used in my life! I have a wall of pictures by the back door. Everytime someone goes in our out, they all move. No more! These strips hold them tight and NO HOLES in my panelling. This is good stuff!

These work great and I love not having to put holes in the wall. Just make sure you get your pictures straight the first time. There's no do-overs. You have to rehang with new strips!

Very light weight objects hang and hold well but a couple of picture that are under the three pounds suggested weight limit will not stay on the wall. One of the tabs pulled paint off when it fell.

I purchased these in small and medium to hang pictures in our playroom. I followed the instructions carefully. I was hanging 24 pictures in all. I used a larger strip than recommended or two strips as I wanted added stability since they were being hung in a playroom. Before the hour wait time was up, many of the strips had fallen off the wall. A few strips seemed to adhered well, so I went ahead and hung the frames. They fell withing 10-15 minutes.I assumed I made a error when hanging them (I have a set of frames I hung in my living room hung with the same strips for over 2 months) and the strips on the frame were stuck on well. Re-read instructions and searched online for additional tips.Re-hung strips, only difference was I hung them on a warmer day. Still had the same problem. Not sure why they aren't working. But I'll be going back to nails after spending $40+ on faulty products, not to mention all the time I spent applying pressure to 3 points for each of the strips. Nothing to show for all the time and effort but dinged up frames.

These Command Picture Hanging Strips are fantastic. They are easy to apply, and easy to take off if you follow the instructions. They are good for all pictures, but fabulous when you have to line up multiple pictures exactly. You could never make everything even with picture hooks. This is my first choice for hanging pictures.

I love 3m products. I have used the hooks for everyday and during the holidays when I put up temporary items. I needed my picture hung and was unable to hammer a nail. The picture hanging strip allowed me to hand my picture myelf.

Always use a larger size than you think necessary. The Velcro is strong enough - it's the adhesion to the wall / object that's in doubt. More surface area the better. Try it first!

This is a great product. Very durable, comes in different weight sizes. And no more holes in the walls! The oly reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the price.

We wanted to hang five 8"x10" framed art pictures in our bathroom, and we used just one strip per frame--they hold beautifully and you cannot even tell how the pictures are hung unless you lift them! Very easy to lift them off the wall and the strips do no damage to the walls, even though the walls were painted just a week prior to hanging.
The application is a little laborious though--you have to press the strip for 30secs against the frame, then the other strip against the wall for 30secs, then let both sit for an hour before actually attaching to the wall. It's a bit tedious, but definitely worth it in the end!

I purchased these to hold up magnetic white boards on my stainless steel refrigerator. Stainless has no magnetic properties and I needed something to attach my fridge magnets to. The boards worked perfectly for this use and the command strips were the perfect way to attach the boards. They won't harm the stainless surface when removed and will stay up for as long as I want them to
