Sure, these hangers look great and they're velvet, but the hook is too small to fit on a standard rod. You need to hang them on a mini (or thin) closet rod. The hangers that the baby clothes come on are better than these!

Great hangers. These work best for larger clothes or clothes that have a hard time staying on the hanger. If you are trying to use them for newborn clothes it might not be the easiest hanger to use. I use some of these and the plastic ones too for smaller clothes.

The Velvet Baby Hangers are a great especially if you don't have a lot of closet space! These hangers provide more room, are NOT bulky, Clothes stay on and they provide different colors to coordinate with your nursery, if you decide to show off the closet and baby clothes I like I do :). My husband and I have velvet hangers and will continue to use them in our home time after time. ONE SUGGESTION: Use clothes pins to hold any baby hats and if you can at your local store like [@] they have clips to add to adult velvet hangers and I used those as well for my babies pants and anything heavy :). These are great hangers especially for the price. They are similar to the Huggable Hangers you can buy at the C*******r Store, but much less expensive. Someone asked if the metal swivels.....it's not designed to swivel (the metal does not go through the velvet part of the hanger), but you can turn it and hang it over the side of a crib or changing table.

These hangers are awesome, and my only complaint was that they're only available online- not in stores! I don't know why anyone would prefer the plastic hangers when these are available!
