I bought this because my local HD did not have the kilz ODORLESS primer (which is oil based) in stock. The Clean Start is water based and is pretty watery. I mixed it pretty well and it still dripped when applying it to the ceiling. It also was not nearly as effective as kilz oil based primer. I used 2 coats of this stuff to hide light water damage and a new mud job on the ceiling. Save your money, open a window and buy the oil-based kilz primer.
