I purchased this garage door opener as a replacement. To my surprise this new and improved opener can now only open one door whereas the old version was able to operate two doors. I believe this was so designed to force the user to have to purchase two units to replace one unit. I feel sort of ripped off especially since I did not know this unitl after I tried to program the same for both doors and then called Sears to receive the bad news. Disappointed.

We compared several models of wireless keypads to open the garage door and selected this one. It was easy to program and works great. The small battery cover is a little tricky to put back on, but can be done. Just have to be a little careful not to force it or get it crooked. We are very happy with our purchase.

My husband and I bought this after replacing our very old garage doors. Our contractor told us that we didn't need new motors so he could not install a wireless remote. After sensing my disappointment, he suggested a universal wireless remote from Sears (we have Craftsman motors). This has been a godsend. It works perfectly. My teenager no longer has to worry about losing a key and can get in after school with no problems. It has brought such peace of mind and is worth every penny. It installs in minutes and setup was fairly easy for my husband.

I like to give my kids alternate methods of entering our home after school (forget a key, whatever), so that there's no worry about them being locked out. I purchased this product to replace one that finally died after 12 years (no longer manufactured). I had worried that this product might not work on older garage door openers, but that worry was unfounded. It took me about five minutes to set it up and another two to mount it. It works great and is smaller than my original. Seems to weather the conditions here in Indiana just fine.

I have a Builders Mark door opener and was unsure if this item would work. My fears were unfounded. Everything worked smoothly and it even includes a battery. Highly recommended.

I had high hopes for this product. It was very easy to program and install, however, since installing this keypad, my neighbor's remote now operates our door!! Not cool. Have reprogrammed twice and same results. Will probably have to return it. Thinking it's a fluke occurance.

Not the easiest DIY project I have completed. The installation was a little difficult the mounting screws are a bit long and easy to strip the top of the screw. Programming was a challenge as the "display lights" were supposed to flash; however I never saw them flash. None-the-less, I was able to successfully program the unit.

Our garage opener is quite old, so installing this required that we log on to the company's website to figure out how to program this keyless entry. It has worked perfectly since installation and we can't believe we went so long without one. Great buy!

I bought and installed the KLIK2U today. It was easy to program and install. But it only worked about every other time. It might stop the door part way up or down or not work at all. And when it stopped it prevented all my other remotes in my cars and even the hardwired opener from working. After a few minutes the other openers would work again. It seemed like the KLIK2U was jamming the other devices. I talked to support at Chamberlain and they suggested reprogramming the remote. Talked to tech support at Genie and they said the KLIK2U would not work with a Genie. So it is going back to Home Depot

I looked at different brands and styles of wireless keypads and decided on this one. The installation was simple, and straight forward. I have an Overhead Door opener, and it took about 2 minutes, if that, to program. Some say that they want an enter button instead of the zero button. I believe the zero button works a bit better as theft detterent. Most theives know that the code is four digits, and would type in four digits and then enter. with the zero being the enter button, unwanted entry is a bit harder. The sliding door issue just takes a little getting use to, once you've used it a couple of times then it will be a non issue.

Purchased this product online from Home Depot. Took just a few short days to arrive. Very easy to program and even easier to install. I didn't know if I would like the slide up front (my other one had a flip up front) but I like it better. If you have an arm full of stuff you can just slide up the front cover and it stays up while you enter your code. The only negative thing I can say about this product is I would prefer it have an enter button instead of using 0 as the enter button.

It took me only 10 minutes to open the package, program the remote, mount it on the house and clean up. This item is the one to buy. My opener is a Lift Master.

I decided to buy this product after the 4th or 5th time my wife or I had been locked out of the house because someone forgot to unlock the knob of the storm door (to which there is no key). It's design and concept is very simple. Just a straight forward opener remote. I will agree with someone before me that said they'd wished there was an actual "Enter" button or something to signify the end of a command other than pressing zero.Programming this remote is where I feel the product falls short. If you have newer openers (within the last 4 or 5 years) then you probably won't have a stitch of trouble. I, on the other hand, have a Craftsman opener from 2001 and an Over-Head opener so old they don't even have record of it anymore at the local Over-Head retailer, much less sell parts for it.While the package clearly states that it works with Over-Head door models, apparently my model is not one of them. There are a series of dip switches on the opener that match in my car remote. However, when positioning these switches in the way the instructions say to position them, the opener quits working all together. Again, it's probably because of the age of the opener more than it is a fault with the keypad. My headaches continued as I tried without success to program the keypad to work with my Craftsman opener. This opener is a little more straight forward. Push a button on the opener and it accepts an input code from the remote. Simple, right? Not really. After about an hour of programming and clearing and programming and clearing, taking a break and coming back, I decided to try other sequences. Turns out I have to program my remote as a 1993-1996 Craftsman model (supposedly with a green button, mine is red) instead of the 1997-2004 Craftsman model (which supposedly covers my 2001 model).Once I got this little quirk worked out it worked just fine. It opened and closed just like it was supposed to. It mounted just fine outside. The slider door everyone complains about is a little tight, but I don't think it's all that big of an issue. I think it's just fine the way it is.Overall I think this is a good product, time will tell how well built and durable it is.

I purchased this item for my family to have easy access to the house thru the garage. It beats having to make extra keys because they misplaced them or lost them. This item was very inexpesive and was easy to program. Once we finished programing it was a cinch to attach to outside of garage door for my family to have access to it. It also came with the batteries. So happy with this product. I recommend. It's cost effective and easy to program. :D

The keyless entry system was easy to program and install. The only issue I have had was the sliding cover can come off if you slide it too far. But this is not a show stopper. I would recommend this product to family and friends.

The outdoor remote was very easy to install and sync with my garage door opener. Within minutes it was mounted and working! The buttons illuminate the very instant they are depressed, making it easy to use at night. The only negative feature I have found with the unit is the delay it appears to have once the garage door is opened or closed with the keypad. The door can ONLY be opened or closed with the code setup during installation, however the keypad remains active for a short period after the user's code is entered. (This is the amount of time the keypad remains illuminated after each use) During this delay time, you can depress the zero button (which acts as an Enter key), and the door will open or close. Again, this is only active once the user's code is entered, and during the time the keypad is lit, or illuminated. Overall I would recommend this product to others.........
