Do you like horses? Do you like the country? Well I think you will like this book. It is about a boy named Luke who moves into his grandpa's house because his mom and dad got divorced. His grandpa is very loud and mean. Then Luke meets an old horse. Her name is Beauty. Beauty was an old horse but has a lot of life left in her. Then one night in a terrible storm Beauty gets out of the corral and Luke is forced to make a big decision. I like this book because it is interesting and has adventures. I like Luke because he is kind to horses and even though he wants a younger horse (instead of an old horse) he only whines a little, but then is happy to ride Beauty. I think this book is for 3rd & 4th graders. I think you will love this book, but get ready for the ending. It is sad.

this story was very dull and borring for almost the whole story but at somepoint at the end you get sucked into it and the very end is what derserves the 4 stars i cried all the way to the end and after for like 10 minutes! the rest of the story deserved a 3. there were some places where it was talking about one thing and i turn the page and its talking about another. or it uses completly wrong grammer, and im in 7th grade. there was also some chapter or things that were completly unnessicary and made no point to the story. all-in-all i would say that this book is good for people who have not read any of the bigger book like harry potter, eragon/ eldest/ brisinger and inkheart/inkspell/ inkdeath
