It is an FPS by DICE and EA games based in modern times around a terrorist group. Blackburn is faced with the challenge of saving his own skin when questioned by government officials. the mulitplayer is the best. you pick from 4 different classes (recon, assault, support, and engineer), each with a different job. although you are not required to follow the "job description", it makes the game more fun and a lot more realistic. After deciding whether or not you like to snipe people out with a .50 caliber barrett, leading the assault on the enemy with simplistic, yet precise tactics, or you want to repair, maintain and drive gigantic tanks helicopters and jets, protecting your team from counter attacking enemies, you...kill! Taking out the enemies isn't the only fun thing to do. Whether its driving around crushing buildings in tanks, or flying high above in an A-10 Thunderbolt. More guns can even be unlocked in a Spec-ops like mode called co-op. A variety of missions from acting as snipers for the French police to detonating bombs in New York. Battlefield 3 brings a whole new meaning to the FPS side of gaming. I highly suggest buying this game and let the Frostbite 2 experience sink in!

This one plays a little slower than your most popular first person shooters, but for good reason. You must use strategy and teamwork to win. I found this game to be a blast while playing with friends. Even if your friends arent online, you can always find a good squad to team up with. The audio is amazing as well...you can really feel the power of a tank shell, especially if you have a sound system! the only problem ive had with this game was spawn killing.

Memory storage hog, poor graphics unless you have the xb360 hard drive, can't turn off the graphic language as in Activision products, can't compete with Call of Duty series.

No it's not a game for kids but it's an amazing battlefield simulator. It does take a little bit to understand the controls but once you have a grasp on them, it's pretty simple.

I have BF3 for X-Box 360 and it is an awesome game overall. It blew me away when I first played it. It has great multiplayer modes suitable for anyone. It has had a few glitches, but these have been recently fixed. The game engine is perfect for that gamer who wants that extra realism that most first person shooters don't offer.
