Dont even want to start saying all the positive because we would be here for a while, Amazing start... Consistent action packed middle, Shocking end. Mix of villains was perfect and loved the new gameplay. Catwomen side story was perfect for the game to not get boring. i dont normally say a game is perfect but this game is so darn close. 4.9 of 5 because im stubborn.... go buy this game especially at this price.

First thing's first, if you haven't played Batman: Arkham Asylum then I recommend doing so. It hints back to what happened there often. If you haven't played it then you'll be sitting there looking pretty confused when you see Joker, Sharpe, and probably other things/people that I can't think of off the top of my head. Now look man, this game is a game of the year edition for a reason, all those 10 of 10's and 5 out've 5's you're seeing on the cover aren't make believe, this game is the real deal. Whether you're the world's largest batman fan or you've never even heard of him(which is unlikely) is irrelevant, this game is one of if not the best RPG games I've ever played. The gadget's you can use are awesome(there is quite a bit of them), the fighting is just flat out ridiculous, it put's in just the right amount of stealth to where you still get the thrill of stealth take downs but without over doing it to the point that it gets boring, tons of side-missions(optional), unfortunately no killer croc or scarecrow(atleast not that I know of), but there are still a good number of villains. The ending to the riddler's challenge in Arkham Asylum was just nonsense to me, they gave him a larger and better role in Arkham City. The thing that separates the regular B:A.C. from the game of the year edition to me was the fact that it brought in Robin and Nightwing. Unfortunately they aren't playable in the campaign mode, but you can use them in Riddler's Revenge(the challenge mode). I think Catwoman comes with the regular B:A.C. but you might want to double check that. Another thing as far as the challenge mode goes is you can use countless other costumes for Batman, Catwoman, Robin, and Nightwing( You can't use the other batman costumes in story mode until the main story is complete). The ending left me with a confused look on my face, but Harley Quinn's revenge made up for it. On challenging gameplay, I rated it a 4, but if I could I would give it a 4.5. Don't misunderstand me, it is a challenging game, it WILL make you think. The hand-2-hand could be a little bit more challenging in the campaign mode, but it get's pretty tough in Riddler's Challenge's. So if you just want to test yourself against a mosh pit of opponents then you can, just not so much in the story mode.

I am sure one of the oldest gamers out there so when I say this is one of my favorite games I have played thousands. My love of Batman goes all the way back to the early 70s. The fighting engine is amazing. Love the Joker!

I know the original game came out 6 months previous and got great reviews, but I recently decided it was time to pick it up and this version was coming out with all the DLC in one total package. This is an absolutely fantastic game, the best "licensed" game made to date, and generally a thrilling game that is like playing through a long timeline of gritty Batman comics. I am typically a Marvel guy, but to-date noone has put out a comic hero based game this well written and acted. The game features a huge map, spot on gameplay, and a huge variety of challenges. Do yourself a favor - Buy this Game!

This games continues the arkham story and does a good job of including characters left out of Arkham Asylum. There are are lot of extra playable characters and stories. If felt like there were a few too many side stories that often made it hard to tell how to finish the main story. Overall the game is a lot of fun and something I would highly recommend.
