I am furious about my recent purchase. These two hooded towels were purchased in Colorado and were to be shipped to someone in Florida (FOR FREE SHIPPING!!!) Instead when I returned to my home in Cheney, KS, the package arrived at my front door! I had to take the gift to the post office and paid $10.95 to get it shipped to Florida! Customer service was terrible! I have retained the shipping receipt I incurred at the post office and expect Toys R Us to reimburse me for it! Is your company one of integrity or not. Received as a gift off my registry at my baby shower. When I went to wash the this towel, a matching larger towel and washcloths with baby detergent it tore apart. there is blue fuzzies in all the baby clothes that I washed along with this towel. Needless to say I spent over an hour with a lint roller trying to get them off the other clothes, don't waste your money on this towel or similar towels that go with this set!

I've just received this as a baby shower present. It's super cute and feels very soft. I haven't used nor washed it yet, but after reading the reviews, I'll be half expecting the pulls and piling myself. I'm not surprised by the negative reviews, because the reason I'm giving this just 3 stars is because of the product packaging. You know those plastic tags/ties, barely half an inch long, that keep the towel nicely folded and attached to the cardboard backing? I had to remove no less than 12 of them from fluffy hook and loop terry. As carefully and as precisely as I tried to cut them off--spent about 15 minutes just doing this--I know I lost half of one plastic end in between the layers in the hood (which will probably rear its ugly head one day and scratch my baby) and tugged or cut at least a couple of threads. They need to rethink product packaging and have some consideration for its end users and how packaging might adversely impact the product.

We received many hooded towels as gifts, but this is by far our favourite. It's made well (not sure what all the other reviews are about, perhaps a bad batch??) and it's made of terry cloth, so it's more absorbant than the blend material of the others. We have used, and washed ours a hundred times and there are no issues with pulls, lint, or the hood falling off.

This hood had many pulls in it. When I went to exchange it, all the ones at the store had major pulls worse than the one I had.

I received this towel and the matching washcloths as a shower gift. They are very cute, but unfortunately they started getting pulls as soon as I tried to get them out of the packaging. They are made of very poor quality material. I would not recommend them.

I washed this with my other brand new hooded towels and I think it has RUINED them! They are covered in blue lint! I washed them a second time and they are still a mess and have spent a ridiculous amount of time using a lint remover to TRY and get them cleaned up but they still look awful. So disappointed!

This towel is horrible! Seemed like a thick comfy towel, but after washing it fell apart. It also left blue lint on everything else. "1 star" is an over-rating!

The towel is pretty sturdy and keeps our son warm and dry after his bath. I did notice, however, that after a few washes in the washing machine the corner of the towel is beginning to come apart. I would still recommend this towel for it's general purpose of drying and keeping the baby warm though.
