We have used these labels for many years in our warehouse. Ever since Avery changed to "Trueblock Technology" these labels do not stick to our fiber drums. We will come into the warehouse in the morning and find half of our labels laying on the floor the other half will be in various stages of peeling off the container (container being a clean/new fiber drum in a temp controlled warehouse) If anyone from Avery reads these reviews you better go back to the drawing board on these things because I rate them a FAIL and will be searching for an alternative from a different manufacturer.

The labels themselves are Great. They do cover well and you cannot see what was underneath (another label etc). We used them on waterbottles for a fundraiser and they worked well. I am surprised that there are NO templates out there for a horizontal label. That is why I give only two stars!!!

Have been buying Avery shipping labels for our business for years. Ever since they "added" the "block" technology that helps cover what you place it on - they don't stick! In room-temperature conditions, placed on brand new, clean cardboard boxes - they begin to peel in just minutes.
We'll be investigating alternatives now - possibly 3M because they promote their "stickiness" - so it's time to evaluate the competition. -

If you want to block any and all printing and/or colors below, the tru-block thing works. A little more $$, but the rest don't achive the blocking. If that is not important, use the Staples brand, they are really good and jam free, but do not have the underneath blocking power of these!

This product was great until they "improved" it by adding trublock. Now the labels peel off the backing during printing, causing them to stick to the next label. Lots of waste, making them a poor value.

These labels were exactly the size we needed. We had to include an emblem, the title of the organization, the title of the award as well as the addressee information (Colleges with at least 5 lines for their address information). Everything fit like a glove and we even had a couple of lines to spare, so we centered everything! IT LOOKED GREAT ON THE PACKAGES!!!

I used these labels last weekend to make nametags for our senior citizens' luau. The labels were large enough to use big type so we could all read them. The easy-stick backing prevented pin holes to the silk and linen tops the ladies were wearing. We added palm trees and a setting sun in bright neon colors. They were a hit! Thank you, Avery!

I have used these labels for two years on our Car Pool tags. It makes dismissal so easy.... They do NOT fade in the sun and are large enough for large fonts...I would highly reccommend this product for use... The parent hangs these from their rearview mirror to be read by the teacher...

We use Avery 5168 labels with a color laser printer. The print turns out nice and sharp, and easy to read. The TrueBlock Technology REALLY WORKS! This label can be placed on top of any previous labels, printing, or writing on a box, and there is no show-through! It is really great to get a product that actually works the way it is supposed to.

I've used several Avery products with excellent results. My job frequently requires many types of labels of which Avery's labels are perfect. Specifically, Avery's shipping label works best for the larger packages that are sometimes required in my business. It accomodates larger font ,which is important for a larger package, and it can also be used as a return address label, also very convenient on larger packages. I would definitely recommend all Avery products, as I have found them to be the best, and they meet my needs perfectly.

I love the new Trublock. When using Trublock you can reuse boxes with out having to try and black out or remove the old labels. These labels cover what ever is underneath.
