  It provides great protection to the Kindle Touch in a compact, non-bulky way. Very clean looking. Disappointed in the price for such a small piece of leather, but it's still priced within the range of other competitors.

  The cover fits well, and didn't add much weight to the product. Isn't very good for protecting the kindle as there is no latch, and the front cover will swing open if dropped. I have only had the product for a very short time and the edges are already pealing off. For the price point of this product I would not purchase this product again, since there are many other higher quality products priced similarly.

  I bought this for my daughter to protect her kindle, it is perfect fit and it is top quality. It also protects the kindle very well. The downside is the price! It was half the price of the kindle. Much better than anyother cases we looked at though. Specifically made for the kindle and fits it perfectly. leather outside is very atractive and it maintains a relatively thin footprint.

  The perfect fit is the attraction. protection from scratches but not much more. I like that it is thin and adds no bulk. It is overpriced, half the cost of the e-reader but it is the only dedicated cover

  The Amazon Kindle branded cover really assists all of the obsessive compulsive best buyers that love an electronic product matched up with a like branded accessory. That's me! I bought this because, as we should all assume, a like branded accessory should match up perfectly with its like branded product. It does just that. The standard kindle snaps in perfectly to this cover. It is a simple solution to protect the kindle and its screen. I gave the kindle an average (3 star) price review, as I have seen some of the nook covers that are just as outrageously priced, and feel that relatively (according to the market) this isn't as outrageous as I would have first thought. Few things I would change: 1) Everything is a bit too slippery, be careful, if you have lost some coordination (aka are a bit older) this may slip out of your hand at some point. 2) A strap of some sort should have been provided to keep the top cover closed, in my opinion. Right now it swings out based on gravitational pull alone. 3) $40?!, I was half way to another kindle at this price, ouch, hopefully you can find it cheaper elsewhere. Bottom line, if you can afford it, and forget about the high price a few days later (selective amnesia) and add a strap to keep the cover shut, go for it. To be honest, I haven't looked at every option out there, but the snap in fit is designed well and the kindle logo accents are a nice touch. Who is going to be recklessly throwing there kindle around anyways. If you are, you may want to purchase an "anger management" book from the kindle store.

  I recommend this case for your Kindle. The Kindle fits snuggly in the case and the cover folds back easily when you are reading. It is lightweight and well made.

  This is a simple e-reader for simply reading books. We got this for my 88 year old mother who is suffering from macular degeneration and has only partial sight. With the black & white contrast and ability to make the letters very large, she is able to once again do the thing she has most enjoyed doing... reading. We always laugh and say "we have lost mom to the Kindle!" Now her 89 yr old brother has got one.
