I purchased this phone for my mom, who prefers a more basic phone. All the new gadgets drive her nuts. She actually owned this same phone model from 15 years ago, so it was an easy choice. It is a great, reliable and easy to use phone. My only complaint is that it does not come with the weight inside, I had to transfer the lead weight from the old phone to the new one. Without the weight the phone is very light and can go flying with little to no effort when you pick up the receiver (thus possibly breaking). The added lead weight keeps the base of the phone from flying all over the place. If you purchase this phone, you will not be disappointed but either get the lead weight from an older model or add your own.

Replaced an existing phone in kitchen with this one. Phone goes on the wall very well. Looks clean and neat. Works well as a basic phone. Have 5 extensions with my answering machine and wireless phones do not go on the wall very well. I'm satisfied with this one.

In my line of work, a fast redial is vital. This phone has that feature. However, if one pushes the phone too firmly against one's facial cheek, the disconnect button can accidentially be hit, thus ending the call prematurely.

We bought this phone to remove all cordless devices in the house to help with less frequency waves floating through the house. Cordless home phones are believed to have higher SAR ratings than cells. Regardless its a good basic phone like back in the days.

I had been tempted to discontinue use of my land line and rely upon my cell phone. I just had not gotten around to doing it. Then monster storm Sandy came along and reminded me that in case of an emergency, a corded phone would work when a cell (or cordless land line phone - which is what I now have) would not. So I'm keeping my land line and my new corded phone. And I'm hoping I never need it.

Ordered this phone on-line so I didn't see it before buying. Price was the best I found anywhere. Quickly installed it before realizing the shade of white that it was. Next to the white white wood trim in our house it looked greyish white. It worked fine, it sounded fine. Would have liked to keep it even though the touch tone button backlighting appeared green and uneven across the numbers in the dark. But it looked grey. Disappointed, I returned it, forfeiting the shipping charge. Still looking for a white white one.

I purchased two of these phones, and they are doing everything you could expect a $10 phone to do. I brought them home, plugged them in, and they work great.

Very lightweight. Does not feel it will hold up for heavy use,. Keypad difficult to see on gray background. Does not light up well.

This is the classic Trimline, a phone that's not a fashion statement or trend toy. You don't have to replace the batteries every month or so or worry about radio interference. And it has an excellent price.

I'm a back to basics person. I don't always need a cordless phone and this one meets my needs for an extra phone in the kitchen. I have no complaints.

Wanted to get a "regular"phone for the times a cell phone or cordless may not work due to an electric outage. This is it. Works great. Never had an emergency yet, but I'm sure this will come thru.

Package says lighted keyboard. It's not properly lighted. There are only three lights on a 12 key keypad. It can't be read in the dark.

Bought for my elderly mother for times when the power is out and cannot use cordless phones. Easy for her to use. Highly recommend for the price.

Bought this phone as a back-up phone in case the electricity goes out during our Spring Shower season here in Texas. All my phone are cordless in the house. If with a cell phone, if you forget to charge it and need a phone while the electric is out then you are up the creek with no paddle. This phone is my paddle.

Great for those type of people that are unwilling to accept new technology into their lives; there is such a thing as wireless land line phones now people. Nevertheless, for old tech, this is a great option and meets/exceeds my parent's expectations.

Comfortable to hold. Clear and easy to use. AT&T a good product.

It almost seems like there are missing bulbs or simply not enough installed to light up the keypad. Otherwise, the phone is an excellent choice if simplicity is what you want. The ringer volume is of course adjustable and not obnoxious, like the old fashioned "bell" ringers. Also the speaker is adjustable.

Good to have an old school wired phone in the house in case the power goes out. This was inexpensive, decent sound quality and you can't beat the price.

I needed a basic and clear attractive phone. This phone meets all my requirements. And for 10 dollars it is hard if not impossible to beat the value.
