Besides being very affordable, this netbook is super fast and easy to use; it comes loaded with Windows 7 Starter as to mention other useful specifications that make this netbook a good buy for your money's worth. -- As far as battery's wise, this is the only con. --This PC is so great and light weight that is very manageable on the go, especially when traveling since it will easily fit into your hand luggage or backpack. I honestly recommend anyone buying or looking to buy a netbook to consider this little powerful piece of wonderful electronic device especially from a good recognize company as SEARS. Last Christmas I bought my 14 yr old daughter this netbook, it was reasonably priced with just the right specs for her basic internet surfing. She uses it for homework but for bigger projects, she stores it in her flashdrive. I haven't had any problems with it so far, except for the limited memory and battery life.

Just returned my second of these machines to the store because the battery wouldn't hold a charge of more than just over 3 to maybe 3.5 hours - a far cry from the advertised 13.5 hours. I worked with Asus Tech Support on both machines, and they tried to explain how the 13.5 hours is not likely, but that it depends on how you use the machine. I completely understand the "your mileage may vary depending on use", but if I charge the battery overnight to 100%, when I turn on the machine in the morning it had better report something at least close to 13 hours of life, and not just 3 hours! I even totally drained the first battery (only lasted 3 hours) and then re-charged it again overnight - no difference. Figured I got a bad one - second machine had exact same issue, and the salesperson said they were seeing a bunch of these being returned for this issue. I can't comment on any other aspects of the machine - now to start my netbook search all over again...
