This is identical in size to Moen cartridge 1224 but does not line up correctly for Moen facets that only require 90 degree of turn for full on to off such as the Eva model

Although the package says that it works with moen faucets they do not. I with I had read the other two reviews before I went to the store, because they're both right. You can't line the handles up properly, or you only get a trickle. Completely useless and a big waste of time

Can't line up faucet handles as manufacturer intended. If handles are lined up in original position cold water flow is only a trickle while hot is full flow. Its junk.

the product is marketed for use with hot and cold service, but the alignment tabs will not allow the orientation of the handles to be as originally installed, this leaves one handle positioned left to right and one 90 degrees out from that, not good.

I went on line and watched a video on faucet repair from a Lowe's looked simple enough. I took my faucet apart and removed the part that I thought was the problem. I took the part to the store with me so I could match it to the replacement part. Found the part was made out of plastic and not metal like the original part but I was still willing to try it.Went home and put the part in the faucet, it didn't quite fit couldn't get the handle down far enough to screw in the screw. My husband came home to find I had gashed my pinky finger trying to get the piece further in, my husband tried and tried with no prevail then realized the part had tiny feet on the bottom that made it taller, so we filed off the feet and where able to screw in the handle. But the faucet still leaks.

Installed O.K. but only allowed less than 10% flow, real bummer, stay clear.

This cartridge does not work on the cold side. The package says it does, but it does not. I wrote to Danco's Tech Support, and they responded, "If you have lever handles, typically the cold handle will be reversed. The remedy is to replace the lever handle with canopy style handles," In other words, they expect you to replace modern handles with ugly, 1960s vintage handles.

The part is too long and will not seat in a Moen 2 handle bathroom sink faucet. Suppose to replace part 1224. Also, noted that Danco book says number 6S 71H/C and all they had at Home Depot and two other major competitors was 6S 1H/C. It has 4 feet on the bottom and blocks the seating.
