I installed 18 of these around my backyard pool, 3 sides and the other side has 4x8 picket fence. Started at a corner post, cemented that one in and then each post after that I would dig the hole, fill the bottom with 6" gravel and then put the bottom rail in between the 2 post and level it. Once the bottom rail was level I would install the rest of the fence panel and then I would level the new post vertically and fill the hole with a mixture of concrete / gravel / dirt. I would use one bag of regular concrete / one bag of concrete gravel / and some dirt from the hole I'd dug. The one bag of each would usually fill 2 post holes. No water, just mixed the 3 together and filled the hole, was given the ideal from a contractor who installs fences. The fence panels come assembled but I found it easier to take them apart and install them, only helper was my wife, good job hon. You do have to cut any 90 degree corners but the post cut easy with a jig saw. I replaced a stockade fence which followed the lines of my pool, had 4 turns which were not 90 degrees more like 75/80. I widened the holes in the post for the rails say 1/4 inch, this allowed the rails to go in at a angle and then the whole post front was showing instead of a inside corner showing just a small portion of the post. My yard slopes up to the house so I also racked 3 or 4 of these, one post higher then the other, the panel rails have a "U" that the panels slits slide into it's about 1 1/2" deep, top & bottom allowing the panel to look straight up / down as long as both post are level vertically. The panel rails, top / bottom, are about 7" wide, they don't have metal in them to strenghen them but they do have a honeycomb structure built in which does make them quite rigid. I tried bending one and couldn't easily do it.Took me about 4 days to install but that included removing the old stockade fence & post. My wife & I like the new / clean look and this fence panel seemed like the best value in my area.

This is a cheap product. Boards are very thin, Wall thickness of post and rails are very thin.Assembly is fairly easy. My concern is , if I have to do a repair can I get the parts needed. In season or out of season. I guess you getwhat you pay for.

I purchased 10 panels of this fence to put in my back yard. I mostly worked by myself and it went up pretty easily once I got passed the learning curve. I've only had it up for a couple of weeks, but the installation was pretty simple, and I'm very happy with the way it looks. Trimming the panels was easy as well. Also, I contacted customer service over a missing U-channel that someone in the store obviously cut the wrapping open and the piece went missing, and they are shipping a new u-channel right away, no questions asked. Satisfied with my fence and the company.

This fence was installed where an existing stockade was taken down. Used 5x5 posts over the 4x4 wood posts. 20 foot a fence with 2 corners and gate was done in 8 hours. Fence was easy to trim to size but I did have a table saw that made trimming down the panels easy.

I purchased this figuring that it is 6' or 72" which is what I had to have for my house!! It actually measures 67 1/2" so it is NO where near 6 feet!!! This is not listed anywhere on this website so you don't know until you get it home & realize that it's 5" too short.

If you are a weekend handyman this fence is not for you. I am an electrician and consider myself to be "handy" when it comes to projects around the house and even I had trouble with this product. The actual fence went up smoothly and looks great. My only complaints about the fence itself are that it isn't very "sturdy" and the panels are not "solid" as they claim to be in the description on the website. The panels are hollow. This fence only offers "line posts" which have four pre-fabricated holes cut in them for the panels to snap into, they work great if you are running a straight line of fencing. If you have to make a 90 degree turn (which most yards have more than one side, some are even square or rectangular) you have to trace the holes and cut them in yourself...what if you don't have the tool to do so??? Go buy it from...Home Depot! The panels come in 8 foot long sections so if by chance your yard does not fall in the dimensions of a number divisible by 8 you must cut down one of the panels, which is actually fairly easy to do. However, when you "snap" your fence together the top and bottom railing of the panels have tabs on them which keep the rails from sliding back out of the post holes. They work well until you have a panel shorter than 8 feet and you have to cut the tabs off. What is the manufacturers solution? Buy a "tab making tool" from them for $50 (which can never be used for anything else but their product). I did not buy the $50 one time use tool, I simply placed screws inside of the panel rails leaving the heads of the screws exposed a 1/4 inch which worked just as well, plus it cost less than $50. The "gate kits" they sell you are junk. DO NOT BUY the gates kits! The directions are very unclear and none of the hardware is labeled. The directions that come with the gate kits tell you things to do on step 8 that needed to be done on step 1...ridiculous. The "heavy duty" hinges they sell you are junk as well, I just finished installing my gate last night and I can already tell the hinges will not hold up because they are way too flimsy. The fence itself does look good, but it was a pain! Maybe, in the future, the manufacturer could send a professional rep out to every store and give them training on how to install this fence so that they could better help the customer? I bought this product because it was made in the U.S.A... I work in the U.S.A.... I put pride into the work I do and I would expect the same from anyone else...

the panels are good quality and install easy, you can not use a panel as a gate because the company does not make a kit for that, because it is made to go up and down hills it will not stay square as a gate, i have contacted the store and mfg of the fence with no help, the fence is great if you dont plan on having gates......

This was easy to install and the sections lock into place which was nice as I could make it smaller if needed.Very happy with the end result!
