product was easy to work with and looks great, but i would have liked to see the chords be a little bit longer

These only lasted a few months before they went bang. Also blew a bulb every few weeks. Bulbs get red hot and are expensive to replace. Don't bother!

I just wasted two hours trying to install this light set. The screws are ridiculously small and nearly impossible to screw into hardwood cabinets without stripping. And five screws per light is just overkill. I finally gave up, removed the one lit I had successfully installed, and will be returning them for a refund.

These are great when they are working, which is most of the time. However every time a xeon lamp goes out it takes out the fuse in the dimmer. Annoying.

I installed them, very easy, but as others have experienced the internal fuse blew when one light blew out. I easliy replaced the 2amp fuse, but unmouting and remounting the control module from behind my cabinet above my microwave was not fun. My microwave is custom built in, and that's where I hid the controller when we remodeled the kitchen.

I literally just finished screwing in the fourth light (was planning on doing 4 then seeing how it looked, add the other 2 later) and was tapping in the wire guide to hide the first wire when one light became super bright. I cycled the dimmer a few times with no help, it was twice as bright as the others. Unplugged it, plugged it back in, and the bulb blew. Annoying I thought, but not the end of the world.Well, it took out the rest of the unit so now none of them work. Just wasted an hour and a half installing them, though at least I didn't spend another hour hiding the wires before this happened. Reading the other reviews shows that this set is literally junk, don't bother because you're just going to waste your tim installing something that won't last. Maybe you'll get more than an hour out of them, but sounds like eventually you'll have to replace them.On the other hand, they did look great for the 5 minutes they worked!

The light set I bought had the touch dimmer switch which was very nice. The lights have a lot of mounting options. The flexibility of the package would make them useful in many situations.Down sides are that they generate quite a bit of heat and the mounting screws are so small that you need a specialty phillips screwdriver (size P0 or smaller) to install them. I would recommend pre-drilling holes to make the screw installation easier.

I installed this product 2 years ago in my kitchen and have had no problems with them other than the glass lens falling out occasionally. I believe I got my money's worth out of them.

Bulb burned out within a week in an enclosed display case and didn't impress my client much. Like the previous reviews pointed out, wish I would've done my research before installing this light.

Like others who posted here, I just had a bulb blow which took out the dimming unit. Cheap junk made in China. Find something else. Don't know why Home Depot would keep selling something that its customers clearly think is terrible.

Relatively easy to install. After 3 months, one of the bulbs blew out. This took out all the lights. Replaced the fuse in the dimmer module, only to find out it took out the whole module. When I removed the lense cover to replace the bulb, it cracked into 3 pieces.I wouldn't even recommend to product to people I don't like.

These weren't too hard to install, however the wires and the extension cord the lights were to plug into, which in turn were to plug into the transformer were very bulky. The hardest part was trying to hide the wires and bulky transformer. After a few days, one of the lights (which are VERY hot, maybe a safety issue too) all of a sudden got brighter than the others. After that, another, then another...then the unit stopped althogether. I called the 800 number on the instructions and they informed me it was a bad transformer which was overloaded when the bulbs were at the end of their life (I only had it for a few days). They sent a fuse but I am not an electrician and don't want to mess with it. I was also NOT offered replacement bulbs, but think they may have balked if I asked for them. I will be taking these back very soon.

I have looked for a long time for the perfect undercounter lights. Being a lighting designer I have assess to all of the top manufacturers and this style takes the top spot. Instulation was easy, and the touch switch dimmer works like a charm.

Ran the lights for maybe 90 minutes before a bulb blew. Waste of money. Going to take to the store and have them replace the bulb for free if they're going to sell this product.

Transformer fuse and one lamp burned out just as we were finishing the 7 hour installation. Not a typical fuse in my opinion. Home Depot doesn't carry an exact replacement fuse. HD does carry replacement transformer/dimmer. Not what I want to do. Too many wires inside cabinets in areas we'll be accessing regularly. Need a solution for wire bundling and a way to make them less obtrusive.Tedious Installation - which I expected. You'll need a drill (1/16"), a magnetized phillips head screwdriver, hammer, a flashlight or other light, patience. If installing near sinks, block the drains. Depending on your installation you may need a 1 1/2 inch drill for inside of cabinets.Lighting is excellent. Blown fuse and lack of exact product replacement fuse at HD has blown my enthusiasm for this product.

I have had these under my cabinets for just over a year and have had to replace each bulb at least once and the plug in module that controls the dimmer once. In store, the bulbs are 4.95 EACH!! Went to Amazon this time, only 5 for 3.00. The glass lens' frequently pops off when shutting cabinet doors. Unless you want to keep paying over and over, don't buy!!

We really love the lights and the way they shine down onto our new back splash, but they were terribly hard to install. It took us 7 hrs. to put up 5 lights and two of us were doing it!

these are rough to install. I am an electrician and these are hard to install.also the transformer already burnt up, I am assuming its the fuse in the massive plug in circuit board. There has to be a better design out there. Plus these lights get blazing hot in a short time.....

These pucks look good - nice trim for recessed installation, but after a few months of using I began having problems. The bulbs don't burn out, but they fail to illuminate. Taking off the cover and moving the bulb around while the power is one will make them work again - but only for that one occurance. Cleaning the contacts of the fixture and bulb don't seem to help. A classic "you get what you pay for" item.

I bought 4 sets of six for mood lighting; behind the couch, in my glass display case, in and around the artificial trees and can invision other uses. The light 3 step power level is great; a light touch on the 2 inch round touch pad sets the mood, with pad, being so small,it is easily postioned just about anywhere. The connecting wiring is a mess, though it allows a more versite placement then string lights, these are best used where hiding the wires is easy. The lights themselves do get hot quickly and should be carefully palced. The transformer is a bit lacking in durability in that the connecting wire to the touch pad is poorly designed; kind of like cheap connectors used to hook-up your AM radio antenna. Addtionally the transformer itself appears to be prone to failure; I've had mine for 3 months and two units have fail.

As I said lighs are nice but the quailty is lacking. The control unit won't last a year. They seem to be have a problem about a year into service.

It took a long time to install these, but when it was completed it looked good. But within one day one of the lights burnt/blew out. Can't return or exchange now that it is installed and mounted. What a disappointment

I spent hours making accomodations for these to work under my cabinets. I was tapping in the last wire mount clip under the cabinet and the bulb associated with the wire got 2 shades brighter than the 5 other bulbs. Decided to live with it after all the time I spent making them work. One week later a flash and all the lights went out. Fuse on the transformer is burnt up. After reading these reviews I think I should just throw in the towel before I waste any more time.

I bought this item thinking it would be easy to install. Well, as others have stated the little tiny screws that hold them under the cabinets are cheap cheap cheap, and you will need a very small philips screwdriver head to install.- also the wiring is heavy gauge extension cord, requiring fairly large holes to be drilled under/between cabinets.-- worst of all, the whole thing failed after a couple of weeks. There is NO MENTION of a FUSE inside the module (that blows when a bulb blows). I was only able to find that information from reading these reviews (thanks, by the way). So I disassembled the main module and replaced the fuse and found that a bulb had indeed burned out. Replaced that too. Now they work again, for now.---- What a pain ! I don't have time for this.I would not purchase this item again.EMC

The previous under-cabinet xenon puck lights I had did not have a replaceable fuse and the electronics unit plastic case broke when trying to take it apart.I recently replaced the fuse on the electronics unit and the plastic case opened up without breaking. After replacing the fuse and burned out bulb my lights are back working again.

With this 40 dollar kit, some extra wire, and some crimps you can make this cheap kit look like a really expensive install with some time and effort. Unfortunately the fuse in the power supply never lasts more then 8 months. I've had to buy the whole kit just for the power supply 3 or 4 times since I've installed it. And the fuse is soldered to the circuit board so there's no replacing it with out the specs of the fuse which aren't on it

We purchased these lights to go above or cabinets and we love them. We have had them for 4 years now with a nightly use and they are still going strong.
