    I bought this hose for drinking water. It is well made, a good price, and made in the USA. I am suprised that this hose in not carried in the store.

    This is a nice soft hose, which at this point, has not pinched yet. I have not tested it by doing silly twists with it, but i generally am aware of how the hose is lying on the ground and intentionally try not to kink it. The idea of no lead based components helps me feel better knowing that one of these days, kids may/will be drinking out of the hose as I did when i was a kid (of course, lead didn't kill us back then!) ;-) I'll have to revise this in a year or two after it's been exposed to all the evil UV rays out there now.

    Those with babies should definately buy this type of water hose for their backyard. We bought this item particularly for baby's pool to fill-up with water since the material that its made of is much cleaner and safer for babies than a regular water hose.

    I needed a 50' hose for use on my trawler. It is being used for on board water. I fill the two water tanks with it. The never kink feature makes it very easy to use. Good price.

    No matter what the usual garden hose's advertise, kinks and tube hardening always happen. Every couple years I have to deal with battling the kinks and working with heavy difficult to work with gardening hose then finally give up and buy a new one. This time, I decide to spend a bit more money and buy this hose that's meant for boats and camping. I actually bought a 25-footer first (3 years ago). After seeing how well it maintained the soft tube and never kinked, I decided to get this 50-footer. I replaced the old gardening hose that kinked inside a hose self-winder. It's been working out well for the past month.
