I purchased the Bali cordless cellular shade after a difficult experience trying to install the Designview brand. Not sure why, but one HD near me only sold the Designview while the other one also close by only sold the Bali. I was surprised that the Bali was cheaper but had the same quality in terms of appearance but the Bali was 100% easier to install. The one I bought did not need to be cut as it was the exact size required so I can't speak to that process but the shade looks nice and goes up and down quite well. I will be sure to follow the instructions which do tell you to operate the shade daily so it maintains its "bounce" if you will. If you leave it up or down all day for weeks on end, you might find it difficult to raise up again or lower without issues. At least they warn you. Last comment is that it comes with a clear plastic "pull" for the bottom so you don't have to worry about getting the shade itself dirty when pulling it up or down. Nice feature but putting it on the bottom rail was the most difficult part of the installation process. Still, I am glad it was part of the package and it looks nice enough.

These shades were shipped quickly and I received them two days after I ordered them. I just installed them today, and the first one looked fantasti! The second one however is "off." It is even when the shade is up, but as it is lowered it becomes uneven. When it is completely lowered, the right side is a noticable inch higher than the left. I will have to take this shade down and return to the store and hope I get a replacement that is even.

We really like this shade. It did take us 3 tries to get one that did not have some sort of issue with it. One had a brown string in it that was very visible, another hung uneven on the bottom. We really like the shade and it is a great value. Would highly recommend. The store workers were very helpful and quick to help cut the shade.

I like the product, haven't been able to find more at my Home depot. One issue is with uneven pull from one side to the other with no instructions on how to adjust them.

Hello everyone,I like the price fo the blinds- I had purchased this brand of 6 foot by 6 foot blind with cords three years ago and the cords failed because of my pulling on the bottom of the blind- I replaced it and the instructions say to operated the blinds daily for optimal performace and when raising the blind allow time for the slack (bowing outward of the blind) to be taken up by the mechanism. Yes, my blind bowed outward when I put it up, the complete lowering of the blind requires gentle pulling on the lower edge of the blind. So far the blind looks great, are safer for my granddaughter, my dog cannot chew on the cording and pulls, and it costs a fraction of a custom large size blind.I had to be patient with the raising mechanism in this blind the days I used it, and I am worried with an extended time away from my condo I will have problems with the use when I return.

I installed these with ease without any assistance. I had tried the another brand first but they were not true to size and were one inch short. The Bali product was noticeably better quality for the same price with easy to follow instructions. Arrived in just a few days.

The only problem I had was getting them cut to fit my windows. When I took them to Home Depot, they didn't have the right machine for these shades. We FINALLY got them cut and they look fabulous. They provide the nighttime privacy I was looking for!

These blinds were very easy to install. They work great so far. It is very nice not having a cord dangling. The size was unavailable at the store so I was glad I could get it online and shipped for free.

These blinds look great and were very easy to install. They raise and lower smoothly. Our windows were exactly 28-1/2" wide so we didn't have to cut them so I can't speak to how well that works.

Before buying these shades, I tried 31" white cellular shades from JC Penney for a little less money, but they were slightly too big for my windows and the material seemed flimsy. One of the shades was actually torn near the top. So I returned them and went to Home Depot. The Bali shades seem much sturdier than the JC Penney shades. The store associate was very helpful in cutting one to 30-5/8" for me, which was the perfect size for my window. I returned to purchase the other four needed and they installed in minutes. They fit well in my Andersen windows, where previously I was not able to install inside mount shades. They look and operate like more expensive custom shades. I highly recommend these to anyone wishing a custom look and a quality shade.

I replaced a pair of old corded accordion shades in the bathroom with these Bali cordless cellular ones. The price was very reasonable (no more than my old shades), the installation was simple and I love the ease of adjusting the shades to any position using the unobtrusive transparent handle on the bottom rail!I did not use the locking clips on the bottom of the window, because the shade stays wherever you put it. Perhaps these clips could come handy if your window is very drafty.I like these light-filtering shades because they provide privacy but let in daylight and the cellular structure provides more insulation than my old accordion shades. The white of the shade is not too brilliant white and it has off-white top and bottom trim, so I could have used them easily anywhere in the house. No more tangling, stained cords, crooked shades or worrying about child-safety!

Bought three of these shades and they are great! They were easy for my local store to cut to length and easy to hang. The cordless feature works great. It is very smooth and is very nice for our toddler. I would recommend these shades to anyone who is looking for a great shade at a good price.

We just bought a new house and needed blinds for roughly 15 windows of various sizes. We wanted the cordless blinds since we have a cat that loves to chew the strings. Was able to located most of the sizes we needed from the 4 or so Home Depot's in our area. Make sure you measure twice- after they're cut to size, the won't accept returns. All the blinds fit perfectly and look like they're worth alot more than they cost. One thing I will note- we were concerned about the depth of the windows not being big enough to handle the blinds- a few windows only had a upper sill that was 3/4" wide (inside mounting) and these fit no problem.Once you install 2 or 3, you get the hang of it and takes max 3 min per blind. Taking the blinds down once you hang them is a snap too.Overall, for the price, I would recommend these.

I already have one blind that sags at the top. The others are performing fine if they are raised and lowered slowly and right in the middle of the blind. They look much nicer than blinds with cords and are easier to use. Time will tell if they hold up.
