I'm not a big fan of laminate floors because of the way they look and sound. But this flooring looks great! You really have to inspect it closely to tell the difference and it's so much more durable than wood. I would definitely recommend!

products bevelled edges raise up with any spill, no matter how quickly wiped up. Warranty only covers fading. Product insert says not to use in any high traffic areas, hallways, doorways, offices or area that could come into contact with dampness - must be used with area rugs and furniture must be lifted, not pushed or it will scratch. Manufacturer does not stand by product.

Bought this flooring to put in the kitchen, dinning, family and hall. We have three indoor dogs one being a Great Dane. All of the competitors flooring never held up to the wear and tear of the dogs. Floor is easy to maintain with vinegar and water. Still looks like new. Have yet to have any scratches on the floor and that is with a Great Dane running through the house with muddy feet. Highly recommend for family's with heavy traffic. Money well spent.

When I bought my house 3 years ago there was engineered hardwood in the living room and it was not durable at all. I have a 60lb lab who made that floor look like a skating ring so i wanted to keep the wood look but could not stand the scratches.. After researching for months i decided on this product and have had it down for 2 weeks and the dog can go bananas on it without leaving any scratches

We installed this product a year ago after doing a lot of research. We have 5 kids and 2 dogs and needed something extremely durable. This product has lived up to it's reputation by far. We replaced about 500sqft. of carpeting in our living and dining room with this laminate and it was very easy as long as you follow directions and buy new sawblades specifically for laminate. I can't wait to replace the rest of our carpeting with this product. The only thing that I wish was that the attached pad was thicker for more cushion and sound absorption. Other than that, it is perfect and beautiful and looks like real wood.

I was fixated on engineered or solid wood but I was frustrated trying to get it they way I wanted at an installed price I wanted when I saw this product. I have two kids and a 120 lb. dog so durability was a concern. I thought this stuff would last and it looked and felt so much like some of the engineered hickory I had been looking at. Plus, with its design I felt comfortable I could install it myself. We did a 300 sq. ft. Master and my wife liked it so much we did the guest room too. It was easy to install as I have a table saw and I bought a new carbide 60 tooth blade for the project which I could tell was wearing down doing the second room. That's how tough the coating is on these. One other lesson learned was to buy the $5-10 door jam saw if you are converting from carpet. I used a coping saw in the first wood with OK results but in the second room I used the jam saw and it went great. Also, we did use the upper level moisture barrier and the extra Styrofoam beading works fine the the pre-installed padding.

This floor is gorgeous, durable and economical. They installed my large living area and hallway in under 4 hours. Can't believe how much it looks like real wood. The variation is awesome! Super happy! So are my 2 90 lb German Shepherds who love how cool it feels! And I love how they aren't able to put a scratch in it!

We tested this product by dropping a 10 pound dumbbell weight on it, and it didn't even dent! (The same dumbbell test on a piece of another brand of laminate faired much worse.) I used a scrap piece to tap in other boards and the hammer never made a mark on it. I've been using a chair with wheels on this floor for almost two months now, and my 70 pound labrador has been romping all over it, and there's not a scratch or dent anywhere. The only damage was when I dropped the sharp point of a drywall saw tip down onto the floor. That left a tiny mark that I don't even notice. It was easy to install, gorgeous to look at it, and a breeze to clean. We're doing the rest of our house with it now too! LOVE IT!

We have been really pleased with our choice of this product. It looks much better in person than I had imagined, so needless to say I was happy! Our installer even thought it was good, and the real test--my father-in-law (and a wood worker)-- couldn't say enough good about it, even though he was skeptical at the idea. Great product!

I like everything about it. I had installed another brand in a different room and there are several features about the Pergo floors I like more. The tongue and groove snap together easily without much force. The attached padding saves a little time on installation and you don't have to worry about your sheets of padding moving while you install. They are very quiet when you walk on them, no creeking or ticking sounds that are common in laminate floors. People who said they have warping issues, I wonder if they did not leave the instructed 3/8 inch of space around the edges to allow for expansion. I have a large sloppery dog and I was worried the water would warp the floor. It's been 7 months and haven't had a problem yet. I was also afraid the rough looking finish would be too rustic, but once installed it all blends together nicely and looks beautiful. Now I am glad we picked a design with a rougher texture because I think dust and dog fur would be really visible on a smooth shiny floor. We installed the floors in the living room and dining room and will be installing the same floors in the den and kitchen.

I have a very playful Australian Shepard but his nails haven't made a single mark on this floor. Everyone that sees it says the same thing - "It looks like real wood" It is more expensive than most laminates but sometimes you really do get what you pay for

First off, let me say that this is the first time ever installing any sort of laminate flooring. We just bought a new house and the upstairs carpet was a disaster. Decided to go with laminate for the 3 bedrooms, 4 small closets, 1 hallway, and 1 large walk-in closet. Close to 700 square feet in all. It was me and my pregnant wife, took us 2 Saturdays and 2 partial Sundays.I'll just be frank, this flooring makes the upstairs look like a million bucks. Its absolutely beautiful, after we finished this weekend me and my wife just sat in the hallway for an hour admiring it. Looks like wood, doesn't have the fake gloss shine a lot of laminates have. Feels great. Can't say enough about the floor. Nice thick planks. Didn't have a single warped or chipped plank. Home depot delivered 50 something boxes right to my driveway.A couple of observations. If you are new to the flooring take a couple of hours out of your day, and just spend some time watching videos on installation. Also invest in some tools: I went out and grabbed a cheap Miter saw (get the laser one), cheap table saw, and the laminate flooring kit. Also, can't stress this enough, GET A RUBBER MALLET!!!, you'll thank me later. Once you have the tools and a little knowledge installation in a breeze. If you really need to make it look professional, get a cheap jigsaw for cutting around door frames, etc. If you are doing large rooms all the better.Excellent product, you will not be disappointed!

This product is great. Has the look of real hardwood and feels like wood when you walk on it. Installation wasn't quite a "snap" but routine and went together solid. I highly recommend this product.

Had this installed a week ago and I am still totally amazed and delighted every time I look at this floor. Originally planned a wood floor but then reconsidered because of durability issues (have active grandchildren and a new puppy). Laminates never appealed to me because they looked so fakey. But this floor has the total appearance of hand-hewn wooden planks so you get the durability of a laminate and the look of wood. I love it.

This flooring is gorgeous! Looks so much like the "real thing"--the technology they use to match authentic wood is amazing. LOVE the 4-sided beveling. It snaps together with greater ease than other types of Pergo flooring we've used. The only negative we've noticed so far (it's been only 2 weeks) is that it scratches easily in our home with two ACTIVE children. The 12yr old laminate flooring we replaced was a natural maple color and did not scratch (or didn't SHOW the scratching) as easily as this product....perhaps because it is a dark-colored flooring? I'm not certain. However, I have discovered that a brown crayon or colored pencil will easily hide the scratches---keep one on hand! I have no doubt this floor will last as long as you want it to structurally, but it's beauty may diminish after a few years with the scratching. I love it right now & am hoping (with the aid of my brown crayon!) to be loving it 10 years from now, too!

We replaced the carpet in our living room and dining room with this flooring and couln't be happier. It took about a day and a half to install 430 sq ft and you really do need a good carbide blade for your saw. My husband remarked several times how much easier this flooring was to install over other laminates he has worked with in the past. It really is a beautiful floor and has been VERY easy to keep clean, even with two dogs and a cat. Love it!

I love this flooring. It is relatively easy to install versus other flooring once you get the hang of it. Takes some care during installation to not break the edges but it is definitely less fragile than the others. It looks beautiful once installed. Can't comment on long term durability but the surface of this stuff is tough. Used a straight edge razor to mark my cuts and the surface was very hard to scratch. Blade was very dull and barely left a mark by the time I got towards the end of the job. Love the end product. Only did a small bedroom but am thinking about doing the rest of my house.
