This is my third pair of this exact shoe. I ordered the wrong size-I should have read Nordstrom's conversion chart- so I exchanged for the other size. These shoes are cool, comfortable and supportive for folks like me with plantar fasciatis issues. I can teach all day or walk all over Disneyland with these and be comfortable. They do run wide and I have a wide foot, so no problems here. The styling is more attractive then most Birkis and the colors are versatile.

My first pair of real birkenstock's and I'm a fan! These shoes are really cute, stylish and reasonably priced. If you are new to birkenstock's you have to get used to the foot bed, but even at my age and being overweight, I found them quite comfortable! The workmanship is high quality and I love the slightly metallic brown color. The sytle is versatile enough to wear with a number of outfits and they don't have the overtly "hippie" look. I like these a LOT better than the Trotters I bought which were the same price!

I am between sizes (8.5) so I ordered up knowing that in the heat of summer, my feet are likely to swell a bit. I was worried about ordering down. The shoes are very comfortable and I just wore them all weekend on a trip that required all foot travel. Even after walking about 3 miles in an afternoon, my feet felt great. These are a little "chunky" looking, so I won't be able to wear them with very dressy clothes, but they're fine for accompanying jeans or maybe a long summer skirt. I really like the color they came in, sort of a metallic bronze. Quite versatile.

These sandals are perfect in every way. The size and width are just right, they are well made, comfortable and stay on without slipping. The color - a gold brown is a perfect match for a summer tan.
